Goody is Providing the Goods

The Cougars were beaten by Ramblers in the Preliminary final in 97. In 98 the two teams faced off in the Grand Final, with Ramblers again prevailing).Ramblers have won an astounding 39 premierships since the Great Flinders League was formed in 1927. Cummins won seven of the seventeen Grand Finals it contested. Kapinnie claimed ten League flags from 23 Grand Finals, most notably four in a row from 1990 – 1993. Since amalgamating, the Cougars have won two flags from nine grand final appearances.

This weekend is a critical match up between the two clubs with one win separating them and could actually put one of them in rare unfamiliar territory and serious doubt for finals if lost. Side note – pretty pumped to see my old club, Eyre United, sitting high and mighty on the ladder, go you Saints.

But back to what everyone should be doing before attending the Cummins Community football Showdown is popping along to 58 Bruce Terrace.
