Liveability – create or find your best home healthy, efficient, comfortable and connected to your local community

Are you looking for a home with reduced running costs and which is healthy, efficient, comfortable and connected to your local community? Well, you’re one of many people driving a new trend in real estate.

The Centre for Liveability Real Estate in collaboration with the sustainable design, building/construction and assessment industries have developed the The Liveability Real Estate Property Marketing Framework which addresses the four aspects of the property marketing: the real estate agent (1) who brings the people (2) and property (3) together through effective online and print marketing (4).

It is not a rating system. It is a property marketing framework which enables the real estate industry to simply and effectively identify and integrate an additional 17 Liveability Features into the point of sale or rent.

Liveability Features are property features that offer the potential for reduced running costs and increased comfort if used correctly by the occupant. We call these features The 17 Things™.

They can be validated at point of sale or rent by a trained Liveability Real Estate Specialist like Rachel Lawrie.

Do you have any of these Liveability Features in your home?

If so, your property may be eligible for the exclusive Liveability Features icon and additional listing opportunities.

The Liveability Property Feature trademark

The Liveability Features trademark is not an energy rating. It is simply a way to assist prospective buyers, sellers and renters to recognise properties which have features that offer the potential for reduced running costs and increased comfort if used correctly by the occupant.

A property needs a minimum of six selected Liveability Features™ to receive the Liveability Property Features trademark on a rental or sales listing.

Once you have bought or leased your home you can find out more information about how to bring these features to life when living in your home on liveability.com.au
